I love mentoring kids and young adults. I wouldn’t want this young man any where near me. I’ve tried to help people like him in the past. One young man just showed up at my door a year after hurricane Katrina with a similar accent and for months I made it my mission to try and help him. What that experience did was let me know that you can’t help people that aren’t more enthusiastic about their future than you are. If they aren’t raising your heart rate to catch up with them as they race to better themselves, they aren’t worth your time.
